Social Service Activities

In addition to classical events, have been a helping hand by contributing to the society in the form of social activities. Below is the list of contributions made.

  1. Monthly grocery contribution to the physically challenged people from the last 3 years.
  2. One day meal and Toys sponsorship to the orphanage.
  3. Teaching Bharatanatyam to the Mentally challenged people for a free of cost.
  4. Note book distribution to the children studying in Govt. School and Colleges.
  5. Stitching of uniforms to the economically weakened kids in Govt. Schools.
  6. Saree distribution to the backword community ladies on the occasion of Women’s day.
  7. Planting of 50 thousand saplings in the various location on the occasion of World Environment Day.
  8. Sponsorship of Sports equipment to the Govt. School kids.
  9. Distribution of sweets in the Anganwadi and Govt. School on the occasion of Children’s day.
  10. Raised voice by filing a case against the people cutting trees.
  11. Conducting Free Yakshagana classes for the economically weakened people.
  12. Conducting Free Beautician classes for the economically weakened people.
  13. Conducting free tailoring classes for the economically weakened group of ladies.

Flood Relief Fund

Chiguru Cultural Trust provided a helping hand to the people who are affected from the floods. The team contributed and collected the Groceries, Toiletries, Bed sheets, Tarpaulins, etc. and handed over the people who are in need.

Children’s Day Celebration

Children are the best creation of God, they spread happiness and joy every moment.  It was a great pleasure for us to celebrate the Children’s day with Govt School kids by distributing sweets to them.

Saplings Plantation

On the occasion of the World Environmental Day, we planted 101 saplings near Dobbaballapur and also honored our farmers who sweated out their energy to fill our hunger.

Books Distribution

“Knowledge is Power” – Book is one of the means through which knowledge is transferred from  teacher to student. Believing this we distributed around 10K books to around 2K Government School children around Yelahanka Bangalore.

A day with Special People

The human spirit is one of ability, perseverance and courage that no disability can steal away. One of our favorite ways to ignite this passion and jumpstart a happier and healthier lifestyle is by supporting these outstanding individuals. The members of the trust spent couple of hours with great talented individuals.

Stationary distribution

On the occasion Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam birthday, chiguru cultural trust distributed the stationaries for 100 single parent children. These children are left behind from parents, Krithagyatha trust is taking care of their education and daily hood.
